Sandra Gail Teichmann-Hillesheim is a writer and visual artist. Her books include Slow Mud, Killing Daddy, and Woman of the Plains. She is also a playwright, with Mockernut Street, Corinne, and Not Laughing produced. Her poetry, fiction, essays, and reviews appear in numerous literary journals and anthologies, including Blue Earth Review, Short Story, Brooklyn Review, The Lowell Review, The Hollins Critic, Puerto del Sol, and Cimarron Review. Her art has been exhibited in galleries in Colorado, Texas, Florida, Wyoming, Louisiana, and Kansas City. Her visual works have been published in Weave Magazine, Nimble, Journal of Flash Art, Present Magazine, Blood Lotus, and Sirena: Poesia, Arte y Critica, from John Hopkins University Press.
